Antique William 1v Large Ash Wardrobe Compactum C1830 W6772/30.1

A Stunning Antique William 1V Large Ash Wardrobe Compactum and Dating from Around 1830. To each wardrobe it has a deep Architectural style cornice with ornate carved pedament top and supported on shaped and carved corbal supports either side of the full length panelled door. Internally both wardrobes have full length hanging space with original brass hooks and hanging rail and with its original cloth lining (this could be removed if required). To the centre is a tall chest with cornice top above a frieze and two small drawers over five graduating long drawers all of which are oak lined and with turned knob handles. It stands on a deep plinth base and separates into six pieces for ease of transporting.

Measures: 80" high x 26" deep x internal depth (wardrobes) 22" x 94" wide

A most attractive and imposing wardrobe in very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination to the ash oozing all the charm and character of the period.
