Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Wardrobe Compactum C1900 W6728/9.1

Lovely antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany wardrobe compactum and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with dentil 'Greek Key' moulding and chequered stringing above a single full length bevelled mirrored door with brass handle and with internal brass hanging rail and shelf. to the other side there are two panelled doors with chequered stringing to the edges and with flamed mahogany panels and cross cut diamond pattern to the centre and with internal removable shelf. To the base there are two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with chequered stringing to the edges and with original brass handles. It stands on a plinth base.

This wardrobe is beautifully strung with ebony and satinwood and has its original lock and keys.

Separates for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period. It has been cleaned using a traditionally wax polish.
