Pair of Speltre Garnitures

A late 19thc pair of speltre garnitures with rams head & floral decoration standing on marble bases.

Each has an acorn finial at the top, on an urn-shaped body with 3 rams heads with floral decoration. There is also an acorn finial at the base of the body.

There are plant-like tripod stem supports leading down to hoof feet, standing on a circular base.

They stand on marble bases with intricate ormolu leaf decoration in a recessed panel with round ormolu feet.

These are of good quality with dark patination.
