Classic Victorian Double Brass and Iron with Brass Detail

Description

Late Victorian absolutely original brass and iron bed with all brass in tact and polished including shell and disc faces and knees as well as the rail and knobs. The ironwork has been shot blasted and re enamelled in white as original.This bed is a double size i.e. for a 4'6" x 6'3" mattress.

Head height 56" to top of knob,53" to top of rail; foot height 46" to top of knob, 43" to top of rail; tip op side rails 15".

A lovely individual piece of history.

We can supply 2" mini box base for £195 or a 4" sprung base for £250 for superior support for top of the range mattresses as well as hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
