Fabulous Victorian Chaise Longue Beautifully Reupholstered in Luxury Fabric.

Description

Elegant and curvaceous Victorian chaise longue beautifully and skilfully upholstered in a striped pattern damask fabric with luxury trimmings, on carved walnut frame.

The angled curving back hugs the curve of the plump round head rest, while the separate removable bolster pillow echoes the same curve and adds to the comfort. The sprung seat allows fully stretching out in comfort for one, or occasional seating for others seated upright.

The carved frame is augmented with a foliate and leafy design, and the whole stands on turned legs.

A wonderful and very comfortable chaise to use in any room. It is perfect as a focal point, to use at the foot of a bed, or to position to recline on while looking at a view.

The multiple colours within the pattern allow it to blend with many colours.

Size-full length 68 inches, width 26 inches, height 28 inches. Seat height 15 inches, inside seat length 57 inches. Separate bolster cushion measures 20 inches long by 6.5 inches diameter.

A lovely and unusual piece in very good condition.

A great new look for Christmas and New Year entertaining!
