Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Wardrobe Compactum C1900 W6597/3.10

Superb antique edwardian mahogany inlaid wardrobe compactum and dating from around 1900. It has a caddy top with wide satinwood cross banded edges above and to the centre two small panelled doors with inlaid fruitwood ovals and brass handles with working key and with internal hanging rail. To the base there are two short drawers over three long drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with original brass handles and with stylised and shaped satinwood banded edges to each drawer. To each side there is a full length bevelled mirrored door with brass handles and working key and with internal mahogany shelf with hanging rail and brass hooks which slide out for ease of access. However these could easily be removed and a hanging rail installed if required. The whole stands on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

Wardrobe measures: 82" high X 22" deep X internal depth 20" X 73" wide

In very good conditionwith a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
