Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Double Bedstead C1900 W6591/26.9

Description

Antique edwardian mahogany double bed and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany both the head and footboards have a moulded arched top rails above a single mahogany panel with a deep satinwood crossbanded edge. It has its original screw irons and stands on squared and tapering legs which have fine stringing and on castors.

Measures: 52" high to headboard X 36" high to footboard X 54" wide X 80" long

Takes a standard double matress.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
