Antique Edwardian Mahogany Breakfront Triple Wardrobe Compactum C1900 W6578/19.9

Antique edwardian mahogany breakfront triple wardrobe compactum of quality mahogany and dating from around 1900. It has a cornice top with cross banded frieze above a central breakfront with two small cupboard doors both with cross banded edges and oval panels finely strung with ebony and satinwood with original brass handle and with two internal removable shelves. This is above three short drawers over three long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles and with cross banded edges. To either side there are two full length arched mirrored doors with bevelled edges and original brass handles with internal shelf and brass hanging rail with a further brass guard rail below (which protects clothes from becoming trapped in the door). The whole stands on a plinth base and separates into seven pieces for ease of transporting.

Of excellent quality in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
