Here we have a super quality Edwards and Roberts Victorian Burr Walnut Wardrobe. As you can see the Wardrobe has excellent colour and patina. The carefully selected veneers have been placed on a solid Walnut carcass. As you will know Edwards and Roberts were well renowned for their exceptional quality and this piece does not disappoint. The top has a beautifully moulded pediment leading to arch panel doors and original mirrored plate. The front has breathtaking configured Walnut and the sides are polished solid Walnut. Inside there are two flanking cupboards with hanging space and a central lobby with hanging space and a single slide. Below are three solid Mahogany drawers with hand cut dovetailed joints. The drawers are Mahogany lined including bases and have their original brass handles. As you will see the drawers are stamped Edwards and Roberts, Wardour Street, London. The original bun handles are in place as are the original working locks and key. There is a beautiful plinth base below which again is of lovely colour and patina. This is the finest of Victorian wardrobes you are likely to see in excellent retail condition and ready for your home.
