Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Wardrobe Compactum C1890 W6556/22.8

Description

Antique late victorian mahogany art nouveau single wardrobe compactum and dating from around 1890. It has a cornice top with deep mahogany frieze above a single bevelled mirrored door with hanging rail and original hooks. To the other side there is a small carved panelled door and with internal shelf above three graduating drawers all of which are beech lined and with one long drawer to the base also beech lined and standing on a plinth base. The wardrobe has all original brass handles.

Separates into three pieces for ease of transporting.

Please note that the mahogany is not as 'orange' as shown in the photographs but has a nice medium mellow tone.

Measures: 79" high X 19" deep X internal depth 17" X 47" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
