Description

Antique 18th century Georgian chest of drawers in mahogany, a beautifully proportioned piece with wonderful early character and useful everyday storage. Well made and of good quality, it has the elegant restraint and refined detailing associated with Georgian furniture.
Two large drawers to the lower section provide generous storage, with two smaller drawers above for keeping smaller items neatly organised. All four drawers are fitted with decorative brass handles, adding a smart contrast to the warm mahogany.
A reeded edge enhances the design, providing a subtle decorative detail that complements the chest’s clean, balanced form.

The mahogany has a rich, warm colour with gorgeous natural grain throughout, giving the piece plenty of depth and character.
