Baroque engravings from France were fine art copperplate prints produced during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, frequently depicting classical, biblical, or royal figures for art collectors.

Artists incised detailed compositions directly into copper plates before applying ink and printing onto laid rag paper, after which prints were mounted behind glass in gilded wooden frames.
