A stunningly beautiful silver gilt weather station, a barometer, thermometer and clock combined. It was made in London by Edward Stockwell and retailed by Clarks of 20 Bond Street in London. This is sold as a decorative item as we cannot guarantee the workings however it does look great on a wall. Overall it is in great condition for its age, a very few of the high points have lost their original gilding. The workmanship and attention to detail show the exceptionally high quality of this very rare and unusual piece.

Weight; 418 grams or 13.5 ozst all in, approximately.

This Victorian Rococo Revival combination barometer, thermometer and wall clock station originates from London in 1890. Shaped like a banjo and made from silver gilt, glass and enamel, the piece displays a gleaming gold colour. Elaborate Rococo scrollwork, acanthus leaf moulding and detailed foliate carving decorate the body, alongside white enamel dials with black numerals and metallic hands. Measuring 3 cm high, 10 cm wide and 27 cm deep, the instrument is compact enough for display.
