After Adam Buck this charming pair of stipple engravings in colour "First Steps in Life" and "Step by Step, or The Progress of Human Life" each measure 10" x 12". Each is in a suitable old frame giving an overall size of 17"x 22". They were engraved by Robert Cooper & Freeman and published in 1808 by Ackermann at their Repository of Arts, 101, Strand. Lovely early impressions of these attractive old prints.
