A large mid 19th century pine dresser base or sideboard, possibly originating from the Lancashire area, standing on turned bun feet with seven drawers in total, and decorative turned mouldings at each side. The upper three drawers have shaped fronts and a hidden finger pull recess on the underside. The dresser has a lovely blonde colour and a nice amount of wear reflecting its use through the years.It is more common to see this style of dresser base with a central cupboard, but this one instead has four nice wide drawers, plus the three above, which I think makes it more practical. It would work well in a kitchen or dining room for storing crockery and cutlery etc.Condition: Overall this is in very good condition with the wear and patina you would expect from an item of this age.
