Antique Octo 8-day goliath pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely; it gained around five minutes over six days. The movement is covered by a barrel signed Octo Non Magnetic. It also carries the brevet (patent) number 28536. This was for a 1903 application in the name of Charles Couleru-Meuri, it was for an 8-day watch. The name Octo Non-Magnetic was also registered at that time.
The watch measures 67mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition with just minor marking, nothing too serious at all.
The glass lens is in good condition, as is the dial with blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a single chain, 35cm long including the T-bar and the clasp, it is an ideal weight and size for the goliath watch.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
