The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The clock contains a large pocket watch which has a stem-winding movement, which is working nicely. The movement is visible through an inspection lens, and there is also an inner hinged dust cover.
The watch measures 65mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.

The glass lens has a 2cm scratch but it is light, and you have to look quite carefully to see it. There is a 3mm nibble to the bezel on the bottom of the lens.
The dial is in lovely condition with original pin-set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a beautiful silver and Moroccan leather case. The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1902.
Overall size 10.5cm wide, 12cm high.
