Description

A trio of mid-Victorian, hand-coloured engravings of sea shells, from Animated Nature by Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774), circa 1855. Plates LX, XLIV and XLV.

Each frame measure approx. 45cms x 35cms. Each visible image measure approx. 23.5cms x 16.5cms.

Condition is good, with just some very light foxing to the prints and mounts, and a couple of spots of staining to the prints. Colours are still vibrant. One or two very minor scuffs to the frames.
