Description

A stunning mahogany wardrobe dating from around 1800 in flame mahogany and from a large country house in Yorkshire There are labels for H Wilberforce esq London for a London depository and the wardrobe is in remarkably original condition. The two outer sections have full length hanging ( H 160 cm W 54 cm D 46 cm) whilst the centre section has double doors with three original slides which retain elements of their original blue lining There are four drawers beneath with turned wooden knobs and again most of their original blue linings All doors have working keys and locks. The wardrobe breaks down into six main parts to make moving less awkward Polish is in original patinated condition but the odd mark and blemish commensurate with age
