Mahogany Wardrobe by Lamb of Manchester C.1860

Description

Superb quality mahogany wardrobe or linen press by the celebrated English cabinet makers Lamb of Manchester. Two door wardrobe top fitted inside with a brass hanging rail to the left hand side (internal depth 20", height below the rail 45") and four sliding shelves plus two drawers to the right hand side. On a separate base with two long drawers. Mahogany veneers with crisp ebonised mouldings to the cornice, doors and drawers, waist and plinth. Original turned knobs, internal handles, locks and latches. Mahogany drawer linings. Stamped for Lamb's on the locks and with a large maker's label to the underside of the top. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.

Splits into two pieces plus cornice for delivery.
