Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This is supported by turned supports to the front and square legs to the back, with a potboard base below of broad pine boards. Above is a handsomely proportioned rack featuring three fixed shelves, resting on front leg supports. The dresser comes apart into two sections for ease of transport. The dresser has been stripped and maintains an attractive mellow colour and tone. The dresser base is nicely proportioned and a particularly nice example of its kind.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition, with signs of wear commensurate with age and use. There are marks, scratches and areas of wear throughout. There is evidence of historic woodworm, particularly to the front and drawer fronts as pictured; however, this is long since inactive and has been treated as a precaution. All drawers are solid and sound, and they run well. There are minor splits to the top, but the piece is structurally solid and sound. Overall, it is a good, honest example.
