Antique Edwardian Mahogany Mirrored Wardrobe

An Edwardian mahogany single wardrobe. The door is fitted with a shaped mirrored panel, flanked by fielded panels with crossbanded inlay. The door is fitted with a working lock and key together with an internal latch. The interior is clean and fitted with a hanging rail as well as traditional hanging hooks. The wardrobe features a deep drawer with original brass pull handles, raised on attractively shaped bracket feet. Overall a nice example of its kind.

CONDITION REPORT:

Overall in good antique condition. There are marks and scratches throughout, as expected with a piece of this age and use. There is a loss to the cornice on the right-hand side, along with some veneer loss along the base, particularly to the sides. The mirror shows some streaking behind the glass. There is also an uneven area of original finish around the lock. The drawer runs smoothly. Overall, it remains a solid and usable piece.
