A large late 19th or early 20th century arts and crafts style oak dresser, the base with six wide drawers and two cupboards, the top with two cupboards, a central display area, and a shaped pediment on top. There are some lovely little details on this piece, such as the carved details to the doors, and it is very well made…The dresser is made from solid oak throughout and is therefore very heavy - the top detaches from the base which helps, but we would recommend removing the drawers to help with the weight of the base before attempting to move it. As those of you who have visited our little shop will know, it is up a flight of stairs - we’ve had some interesting times over the years carrying large pieces of furniture up and down, but this one is just that bit too big and heavy. It has therefore been photographed in our workshop, which is not ideal, so apologies if the photos aren’t as good as usual.
