Description

A French carved Oak double bed and dating from around 1890. This original and stunning piece has a turned and carved column to each end of the head board with a turned finial. The top of the head board is heavily carved with ribbons and swags. Underneath is a moulded panel. The foot board has the same columns with a chip carved top rail and a moulded column underneath. Both stand on turned feet with original moulded and chip carved side rails and drop in base and it takes a standard double mattress.

Measures: Height to Head Board: 59" x Height to Foot Board: 36" x Depth: 80" x Width: 54"
