Description

A very good example of an 18thc brass upright candle snuffer and original stand, from the reign of Queen Anne....these were introduced during the Restoration period in England...this one dates from around 1710-14 when snuffers were made to go with the same sets of candlesticks of the same base design...it has seamed construction to the holder and both snuffer and holder are in very good condition.
