Black Forest carved wood figure of a boy, A. Flicker, Switzerland, c. 1920. Beautifully carved in the style of Josef Lorenzl, as a grinning boy, standing, with his hands in his pockets, wearing traditional lederhosen, and a cap.

Set upon a tall rectangular base, carved with canted corners.

Signed – A. Flicker.

Height – 39 cm, 15 1/4”.

Width – 10.5 cm, 4 1/2”.

Depth – 7.5 cm, 3”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No repair.
