A large mid 19th century Staffordshire porcelain loving cup. It has a lakeside scenic hand painted to one side, possibly the lake district. The other side has a dedication to ''John Gallanne Esq Liverpool'' and it dates November 6th 1877 making this a Victorian example. The quality is good with handles which branch at the top, some wear to the decoration with some loss of paint. Extensive gilt lining and detail work around the dedication. A fine and unusually example for the collector.
