Constructed in richly figured burr walnut veneers with warm colour and striking grain throughout, this attractive antique wardrobe offers excellent storage while providing strong decorative appeal for both traditional and modern interiors.
The shaped moulded cornice rises above three beautifully panelled doors, each featuring highly decorative burr walnut veneers framed by finely shaped outlines. The wardrobe stands on graceful cabriole legs with shell carved knees, united by a shaped apron which enhances the refined period character.
The interior is well arranged for practical use, with a central hanging section and a shelved compartment, making it ideal for modern storage requirements. The right-hand door retains its original fitted mirror, adding further functionality. There are minor veneer losses to the plinth commensurate with age and use.
