A handsome mid-Victorian mahogany chest of drawers. The drawer fronts display attractive figured mahogany, complimented by bold turned front columns with carved ring detailing. The chest is arranged with one long shallow drawer with a compartmentalised interior. Below are two short drawers, over two long graduated drawers, all fitted with turned wooden knob handles. It stands on turned feet with castors for ease of movement. A well-proportioned and substantial piece.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, with wear consistent with age and use. There are general surface marks and light scratches throughout, along with minor knocks in places. The chest is structurally solid and sound, with all drawers running smoothly. Overall a lovely piece.
