Antique 20th century mahogany sideboard, a very well made and good quality example of classic craftsmanship.
The base comprises four cupboard doors: a single door to the left, a double door to the centre, and a single door to the right, each fitted with a singular internal shelf for practical storage.
The upper section features three drawers – a large central drawer flanked by two smaller side drawers – all retaining their original brass handles and fittings, preserving the piece’s authentic character. The sideboard stands on splay feet, giving it stability and a graceful silhouette.
The mahogany displays gorgeous grain, rich colour, and attractive figuring throughout, reflecting the quality of the timber and workmanship. A very desirable and elegant example, presented in good condition. This piece truly has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated and would make a perfect addition to any home.
