Antique Oak/ Elm Shropshire Dresser Base/ Side Server

19th century
Description

A super untouched country cottage oak and elm dresser base c1800.

Its simple with a lovely mellow patina it originates from a village near welshpool where it has resided since it was made ( a marriage gift apparently) so I suppose we should call it a shropshire dresser base .

It measures 181cms long only 46cms deep and 83cms h

It even retains its original wooden knobs.

These dresser bases are used in many areas of the home nowdays from the kitchen to the hallway and everywhere between
