The pine used is a lovely pale variety and this Heals chest has a more unusual drawers arrangement, having three shorter square drawers along the top with three long and graduating drawers beneath. All six channel moulded drawers have finely cut dovetails, have the original knob handles and they all run well. To the top of this Heals pine chest is an original up stand and the chest stands on lovely oval original feet. In superb condition, all very clean with exposed dovetails to the chest sides. In the natural bare pine finish as intended when made, this Heals chest has never been painted. Circe: 1920.
