A superb quality pair of still life oil on board paintings of shells by fabulous artist Mary Koski (1929-2015)

Mary Koski (1929–2015) was a Finnish born, American artist known for her versatile work in oil, pastel, and watercolor, including portraits, still lifes, and, later in her career, paintings of children and fairies.

She is particularly noted for her classical style, often compared to Flemish masters like Vermeer and Rembrandt, featuring a, "glow from within". The Flemish influence reflects in these beautiful still life oil paintings.
