A fine-quality 18th-century tallboy featuring attractive burr walnut veneers over an oak structure.
Historically restored to a good standard, it separates into two halves for ease of transport. It is solid, strong and heavy, with freely-running drawers and no loose joints.

Condition
Good antique condition overall, showing expected signs of age including historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches and wear. Locks untested (no keys). Some historic extinct woodworm holes present that have been treated for good measure. It may have been used as two separate chests at some stage, as was common, with later added handles and escutcheons.
