This is a beautifully painted pair of Mughal paintings dating from the mid 19th Century. The paintings depict lovers spending time together in a lakeside setting in the evening and both paintings have calligraphy to the top.

These are in excellent condition and presented in a quality oak frame with a gold mount which suits them beautifully. This measures 34 cms by 34 cms.
