Marylebone Antiques has dated these Mahogany Military Campaign Chests to the 1930s.
The mahogany has a lovely colour tone and patina, they have high quality brass mounts throughout. There are also tray slide shelves that pull out from beneath the tops, the backs are nicely polished so they can be used as free standing items.
We have had them recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. There are a few very small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
