Antique Pine Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

An attractive and well-proportioned antique pine chest of drawers, featuring an arrangement of two short drawers over three long graduating drawers. Each drawer is fitted with pressed copper backplates and elegant swan-neck handles, displaying a nicely aged patina. The chest sits on a plinth base and has been finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with a warm pine tone. There is surface wear throughout, including some age-related marks and scratches. Very faint ring marks and watermarks are visible on the top, but these do not detract from the overall appearance. All drawers run smoothly. A lovely example of an antique pine chest.
