Palace in Madrid After the Oil Painting by Rogelio Puente (1936-1996)

Description

This is a beautiful depiction on canvas of the interior of a palace in Madrid after the original oil painting by Cuban artist Rogelio Puente (1936-1996) and is signed by the artist to the lower left.

The picture is a great decorative item in a really fabulous frame that compliments the work perfectly.

The bold colours are warm and engaging and the fine frame has a great Rococo design with deep red marblised sections and wonderful gilding to the carved wood acanthus detailing.

This measures 45 cms by 40 cms overall including the frame.

A lovely decorative work in super condition.

This is one of two similar artworks we currently have available as shown in photo 4. They were both originally retailed in Palm Beach by the Wally Findlay Galleries and still have their labels verso.
