CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout, showing gentle signs of age and surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. Originally a two-part chest, it has been carefully fixed together. The back shows some splitting, with minor loss to the drawers. There are traces of historic woodworm, now long gone and treated as a precaution, and evidence of historic repairs to the sides, all of which add character and reflect the piece’s long history.
