The commode retains its original Breche d’Alep marble top — a striking contrast of cream and purple veining.
The two drawers open smoothly, each decorated with Rococo foliate handles and escutcheons, framed by gilt-bronze corner mounts and elegant cabriole legs terminating in sabots. The interior is oak-lined, typical of fine Parisian craftsmanship from this period.
