Prometheus Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The technique is bold with a great use of a pink, grey and blue colour palette to create a twilight scene. The paint has been applied thickly in places to indicate depth and tone. The work is in good condition and is signed to the lower right although I have not been able to identify the artist. The reverse of the work does give the title and a date of 1958. The painting has been framed in a very large and impressive Georgian frame with the original gilding; it was not unusual for works from this period to reuse earlier frames. The whole has a great decorative look and much London interest.
Overall sizes in inches including frame: 32 ½ by 26 ½
