Extremely rare hand painted three hoop bed. We have never before seen a three hoop in the style with a three section foot with central cast panel and two hand painted panels depicting tied bunches of flowers.Hand painted individual flowers on the frame. Porcelain castors. Amazing all original condition. Bed has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed to preserve. Date lozenge on two of the castings for makers date if 1864. Most likely to have been made by Winfield.
