A fantastic large Victorian oil painting of Peel Harbour, Isle of Man by Charles Hugh Cook Wells (1843-1902) . The painting has been professionally cleaned and conserved. It looks absolutely fantastic.

A wonderful composition, with Peel castle in the distance. Signed and dated C H C Wells 1891.

Examples of his work are found in the Manx Museum and Peel Town Hall.

A very fine example of his work, of large size at 42.5 wide x 30.5 inches including frame.
