Description

Antique Selezi silver pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Revue stem-winding movement which would have been bought in by Dimier Frères & Cie, to be subsequently sold under the brand name Selezi, registered by Dimier Frères in 1912. The movement is working nicely and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Birmingham 1919, with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. Dennisons was a Birmingham based watch case maker, and supplier to various watch makers. The case is in good condition and has a vacant cartouche to the hinged case back.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The dial is in lovely condition, one of the hands is a period replacement but sits well.

The watch comes with a silver plated chain, 25cm long

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
