In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Excellent quality with a rolled rim, riveted seam and riveted detail around the bottom. It also has two large lions head handles and three lions paw feet.
It is in good original condition and displays well. There has been an old patch repair which gives it great character and there are various dinks and dents but nothing detrimental or untoward and it has a wonderful verdigris patina. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
