Antique Victorian Chesterfield Sofa C1880 W6399/21.4

Description

Lovely antique victorian chesterfield sofa and dating from around 1880. It has a deeply upholstered buttoned back and beautifully scrolled arms and stuff over seat standing on turned mahogany legs on castors. In recent years it has been fully upholstered in a quality very pale green damask keeping the original horsehair.

Measures: 29" high X seat height 16" X 36" deep X 80" long

In very good condition being sound and solid and with a few very minor 'pulls' to the material on one arm (please see photo) otherwise in excellent condition and oozing all the charm and character of the victorian period.
