In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian watercolour street scenes typically document urban and rural British architecture from the early twentieth century, characterised by atmospheric washes, accurate linear perspective, and topographical detail.

Artists utilised watercolour pigments applied to rag or cotton paper, frequently employing light graphite underdrawings to establish architectural proportions before laying fluid washes.

Authentic period pieces display age-appropriate paper toning, subtle foxing, period framing backing, and characteristic early twentieth-century artistic monograms or signatures.

Mount the artwork in a contemporary oak or gilt frame and display it within a gallery wall arrangement or above a console table to introduce historical balance to modern spaces.

Display the painting away from direct sunlight and humid environments, utilizing UV-protective glass and acid-free archival mounting materials to prevent fading and discolouration.
