Japanese Iron Tsuba Guard with copper inlays. Circa 1750 (possibly earlier).

Copper inlays of foliage leaves with stems swirling around the edge the Tsuba. A basic and early pattern with stems in fine gauge copper work.

Condition: Original and authentic condition. Slight pitting and rusting on surfaces.

Dimensions: (very slight oval form).

Height = 7.6cm.

Width = 7.4cm.

Thickness = 4mm.
