Rare, original, high quality British Isles / Colonial Africa vesta case / watch chain fob, circa 1890
 
The African continent defines the overall shape, the reverse, the UK in raised profile, country''s, provinces and towns named.
 
Original English stamped solid brass with fine details, with good lustrous surface and colour, not recently cleaned or polished.
 
In very good sound condition with no damage or repair.
 
No holes or splits, good tight fitting snap shut hinged lid, recessed striking surface.
 
Length: 2,3/8'' or 61mm
