An Exceptional 18th Century Walnut Chest Of Drawers With Very Fine Original Gilt Bronze Rococo Handles
In original condition with good colour and patina, this is an interesting transitional piece, having book matched, hand sawn veneers and cross grain mouldings which would indicate an earlier style yet the drawer linings are mahogany and the rococo style handles give it a date of 1760 or thereabouts. The chest has its original key, all the locks have been serviced and are working and the drawers run smoothly.
